To be onboarded as a volunteer please email collarscholars@ucla.edu to start the process as we will connect you with the Gwen, Canine Companions' Volunteer Coordinator for the Southwest Chapter. If you would like to register individually you can as well here. 

 

As a volunteer, you first need to fill out volunteer intake forms and go through a 1 hour zoom training with Gwen. As a collegiate chapter we will try and have you bypass the 1 hour zoom training.

Then you will be given access to the Canine Companions VolunteerHub where you can sign up to volunteer at events in the Southwest Region. As a club, If we plan to volunteer at events or programs, we will let you know so we can go as a group. However, you are allowed to volunteer with Canine Companions individually.
